TOKYO, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Japan's top three automakers Toyota, Nissan and Honda's auto production globally in July declined compared with the same period last year, data released Wednesday said.
Toyota Motor Corp. produced 750,806 units in the reporting month globally, a 1.8 percent drop from a year earlier.
Nissan Motor Co.'s global production dropped 8.1 percent to 375, 416 units. It rolled out 41,233 units in the United States, down 11.2 percent, while its production in China dived 17.9 percent to 82,384 units.
Honda Motor Co.'s global production shrinked 1.8 percent at 338, 931 units, though its performance abroad improved. The corporation 's production in Asia outside Japan rose 4.2 percent to a record 122,178 units, while that in North America grew 19.1 percent to 127,739 units.
Toyota exported 167,612 units, down 2.6 percent, and Nissan 59, 746 vehicles, down 3.7 percent. Honda's exports plunged 30.3 percent to 10,625 units.
