The third Tianshui Auto Expo was held at the Nanshan Stadium in Tianshui, Northwest China¡¯s Gansu province, from April 5 to 7, Gansu Daily reported.
Selling 569 cars and with a turnover of 106 million yuan ($17.09 million) during the three days, the expo presented more than 200 cars of over 40 car manufacturers from both home and abroad. The exhibition covered an area of 12,000 square meters, attracting more than 30,000 visitors.
Aiming to build up its own brand image, Tianshui Auto Expo also attracted various auto sales enterprises from Tianshui and has become a car exhibition with enormous influence, the most exhibiting vehicles and the largest trading volume in southeast Gansu.
The enterprise exhibitors were satisfied with their sales achievement during the exhibition. Guangzhou Honda Lanzhou branch sold about 20 cars, which is the best record of the company during recent regional car exhibitions, said Wang Zhanhu, the sales manager of the Lanzhou branch.
The expo also provided a platform for car sales companies to exchange ideas and cooperate on boosting sales, which may attract more visitors and exhibiting enterprises to the Tianshui Auto Show in October.
The first Tianshui Fuxi Martial Arts Competition was held concurrently with the auto exhibition in the city.
