2014 Guangzhou Auto Show exhibits 1095 cars, with 56 debuts


Gasgoo.com ĘC As one of big 3 auto exhibitions in China, The 12th Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition will be held from November 21th to 29th and 20th will be the Media Day. It is very close to the end of 2014 so this exhibition is not only the summarization for auto industry but also the indicator for the whole market.

In recent years, Chinese auto industry has turned into gradual increase from rapid development. In first 3 quarters, the sales volume of auto industry has been over 17mil and the total volume is predicted to be 24 mil this year, which is expected to be top 1 in the world. In this critical period, Guangzhou Auto show is considered to be a window for future Chinese auto industry.

2014 Guangzhou Auto show covers 220 thousand square meters. There would be totally 1,095 cars, with 56 global debuts. The committee says there will be more enterprises in this exhibition and global main auto manufacturers will participate positively. Lincoln and WMGTA attends Guangzhou Auto show for the first time.

The other highlight of this exhibition is area for electric cars which is said to be the first and biggest electric cars area in big auto exhibitions, including new energy cars brands such as Benz, BMW, Audi, GM, Volkswagen, Volvo, Reynolds, Tesla, Dongfeng, Changan, BYD, Chery, Geely, GAC, SAIC, Brilliance, Great Wall, JAC and Venucia etc. There will be totally 60 new energy cars in exhibition.

At the same time, the biennial commercial vehicles theme exhibition will be held for second time and there will be 90 cars totally, among which 5 cars are first issued in the world, 5 in Asia, 6 in China and 10 new energy cars.

The Guangzhou Auto show this year is also an auto culture party for auto fans. It is introduced by the committee that there will be several kinds of activities held by the sponsor and auto organizations, including over 20 high-end forums focusing on technical exchange and industry development and dozens of auto brands activities audience could experience firsthand.

There are also new technologies applied in service details. The audience could purchase electronic tickets in advance through websites and Wechat and also purchase the ticket through two-dimension code by smart phone on the scene.
